Training and Guidance the New AML Compliance Risk Management 2023
As a fintech company involved in international transactions, FinFan is obligated to adhere to and meticulously enforce legal regulations within Vietnam. Furthermore, we must also align with the regulatory frameworks of international markets, including those set forth by influential entities such as the European Central Bank (ECB) policymakers, the United States, and China, among others.
Of significance is our commitment to against corruption and cross-border money laundering. On August 17th, all FinFan employees participated in a training session focused on enhancing their comprehension of suspicious entities and refraining from providing services to such entities.
Purpose of the training program
Anti-money laundering training equips employees with the knowledge to effectively recognize warning signs of money laundering dangers and suspicious activity. Employees should be aware of their legal obligations to identify and report suspicious activitie to the company's Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).
Training subjects
- Compliance officers to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing,
- Senior managers, and
- All employees of the company are involved in preventing money laundering and terrorist financing.
Content of the training program
This training initiative is designed to provide all FinFan employees with a comprehensive understanding of the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing. It will also enhance their comprehension of their respective roles and obligations in reporting and refraining from offering services to individuals involved in such illicit activities.
Training frequency and method
The company conducts its training program at a minimum frequency of once per year, with additional sessions scheduled in the event of new legal regulations and for onboarding new employees.
The format of these training sessions, whether through meetings or self-study using training materials, may vary depending on specific circumstances and needs.
